To stave off becoming a "Lost," a monstrous, feral ghoul devoid of humanity, Revenants must consume blood, often in the form of "Blood Beads" produced by rare Bloodsprings.

Players awaken as a customizable Revenant with a unique ability: they can absorb "Blood Codes" from others, granting them access to various skills and combat styles.
