NBA 2K23 for Xbox One is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. It is the 24th installment in the NBA 2K franchise, the successor to NBA 2K22 and the predecessor to NBA 2K24.

- MyCAREER mode: Embark on your own basketball journey, create your character and play through a high school and college career before entering the NBA draft. You can then take your talents to the NBA and work your way up to become a superstar.
- The W mode: Take control of a female basketball player and experience the WNBA. You can play through a career in the WNBA or participate in The W online mode.
- MyTEAM mode: Collect cards featuring current and former NBA players and build your own fantasy team. You can then use your MyTEAM to compete against other players online.
- MyGM mode: Take control of an NBA franchise and make all the decisions, from drafting players to trading veterans. Your goal is to build a championship-caliber team.
- MyLEAGUE mode: Similar to MyGM, but allows you to take control of the entire league, including finances, scheduling, and rule changes.
- PLAY NOW mode: Jump right into a game with your favorite NBA or WNBA team. You can play against the AI or another player online.
