Installation Instructions for Moneydance (Windows)

Step 1: Download the Installer Go to the official Moneydance website: https://moneydance.com/download Choose the Windows version and click “Download.”

Step 2: Run the Installer Locate the downloaded .exe file (usually in your Downloads folder) and double-click it to launch the setup wizard.

Step 3: Follow Setup Prompts

• Accept the license agreement

• Choose your installation directory (default is usually fine)

• Click “Install” to begin the process

Step 4: Launch Moneydance Once installation is complete, click “Finish” and open Moneydance from your desktop or Start menu.

Step 5: Activate or Start Trial

• If you’ve purchased a license, enter your activation key when prompted

• If you’re trying it out, select the free trial option (limited to 100 manually entered transactions)

Step 6: Set Up Your First Account Choose your preferred currency, create your first bank account or credit card entry, and begin tracking your finances.
